7 Essentials For Spring


1. Combat Allergies ~ Itchy eyes, runny nose, scratchy throat! Those "lovely" seasonal allergies are arriving! I love that there is a fabulous option with essential oils that allows us to get relief without needing to use a toxic pharmaceutical drug! Lavender, Lemon, and Peppermint Oils ... 3 drops of each and rub behind ears and on back of neck. Or, add 5 drops each to a vegetable capsule and ingest. Or, add 1 drop each to a spoonful of local honey for children - for adults you can do 2-3 drops each.

2. Spring Cleaning ~ Open the windows and start deep cleaning your home! Scrub it all! I love using Thieves Cleaner - it is the only thing you need! No need to switch to a tub cleaner, toilet cleaner, all purpose cleaner, etc.(replaces at least a half-dozen toxic cleaners you may currently have in your home!). You just need ONE! Just one bottle of Thieves Household Cleaner will make 128 bottles of cleaner at 30 oz. a piece (making each bottle only $0.67!). Amazing cleaner that is AntiMicrobial, AntiFungal, AntiViral/Bacterial, Green, Ecologically friendly, & a Plant based cleaner!

3. Exercise ~ Time to get outside for a walk, bike ride, or run! The fresh air will feel amazing! Your body will welcome the great feeling cardio and movement brings to it! Start with 20 minutes! If you happen to feel a pain there are some great nature options with oils so you don't miss a step! Pain Cream ... 1 cup Coconut Oil, 10 drops Valor Oil, 10 drops PanAway Oil, 10 drops Peppermint Oil - for additional benefits you can add 10 drops lemongrass Oil.

4. Yoga ~ Start your morning or end your evening with a peaceful yoga session. The morning sunrises and evening sunsets are gorgeous! There are so many yoga sessions you can find on your phone so you can do your session anywhere - youtube, podcast, etc. I love the calm that comes over me when I do yoga. I add this to my routine ... Apply one drop of Valor oil on your non-dominant wrist & then place your dominant wrist over to absorb to help restore balance to the body and mind. Apply two drops of Lavender oil to each foot to promote deep relaxation during meditation/yoga. Diffuse Frankincense & Spruce to help invoke deep peace & security during session.

5. Bugs ~ Pesky visitors may be making their way to your house or your freshly planted garden! You should be able to enjoy life without the need of putting your family and plants at risk by using harmful chemicals. There are so many natural options! For instance ... Gnats & Moths (Patchouli Essential Oil); Ants, Beetles, & Spiders (Peppermint Essential Oil); Ticks (Lavender, Lemongrass, & Thyme Essential Oils).

6. Shed Some Extra Pounds or Build Lean Muscle ~ Need to shed some winter weight for the summer shorts & bikini attire? Perhaps a 9 day Nutritional Cleanse is the best way to jump start you! It will help shed stubborn pounds, eliminate visceral fat, improve muscle recovery, increase muscle growth!

7. YOU Time ~ There are always so many activities when Spring and Summer arrive make sure you take some time for YOU! Write down 5 things YOU personally want to do ... put them on the calendar on a month/day/time that is achievable for it to happen and ENJOY YOU!!
